Snowmageddon!

Look what we woke up to this morning. When we went to bed last night we had about 5 inches of snow on the ground. This morning we had another 10 inches. Hannah was thrilled!

Fortunately today, work was closed, so we had fun in the snow, made some homemade chicken noodle soup and are warming up now with some candy cane hot cocoa - a perfect end to a cold and snowy day.

Bowling Buddies

On Monday we took advantage of our day off to go bowling with Hannah's best friend Nora and her mom. With a little bit of snow on the ground we had the bowling alley nearly to ourselves.

It was the girls versus the moms. Hate to say it but they won the first game. The moms came back though in the second game to eek by the girls for the win. Hannah is actually a good little bowler and outscored all of us in the first game and had the second highest individual score in the second game.

The girls made time for fun too, checking out the mechanics of ball return and chatting in the lane (literally). Nachos and chocolate milk rounded out a perfect afternoon. Thanks Margie and Nora, we had a really great time!

Crazy Cousins

Three crazy cousins. Get these three together and the fun begins. We had a great post-Christmas get togther with Auntie Belinda and the boys. In years past Hannah has jumped right in to play with the boys. Funny to watch her lately with the boys as she sits on the side lines watching them wrestle and jump around. Her and her ever increasing girly-self deemed the boys play as just too boy for her. In the end though she just couldn't resist having fun with the them and jumped in to the fray to add her cartwheels and ballerina leaps and turns to the boys handstands and ninja moves. Funny!

We enjoyed getting to spend time with everyone and talking with Auntie Belinda. Sure wish we lived closer. Don't see these guys enough.

We love you guys, thanks for the great evening. Can't think of a better way to start the New Year!
