Sunday Night Carnival

There's never a dull moment around here with Hannah. She loves to put on parties, picnics and carnivals. Last night she prepared a carnival complete with a ball toss, a popcorn stand and a princess gummies stand. She made a ball toss out of my shoe and a little squish ball. The winner of the ball toss won a huge cookie! Lucky Hannah. Everyone had a good time and we didn't have to pay a small fortune to get into the carnival or battle long lines in the parking lot to get home. Now, that's my kind of carnival. :)

Two Years Ago Today

Two years ago today we first held our sweet baby girl in our arms. We are continually amazed by our sweet girl's resillance, her zest for life and the joy she brings everywhere she goes. It has been a crazy busy two years, but they have been two years full of life, love and laughter.

We love you more than life itself Hannah B. and we are so thankful that God brought you into our lives and allowed us to be your parents.

You're Just Too Beautiful!

I was tucking Hannah into bed tonight and trying to get her to settle down and sleep. First she wanted another hug(pretty hard to resist)so I pulled her onto my lap for another hug. I rocked her a bit and told her to close her eyes to which she replied "I can't close my eyes, you're just too beautiful!" Needless to say, after I stopped laughing, we had to start the tuck-in process all over again. :)

Fun in the Sun

Hannah enjoying a rest in her beach cabana.
In January, I attended a conference in Miami for work. John and Hannah were able to join me and spent the days at the beach and having fun about town. I did get to join them in the evening for dinner out at the outdoor cafes. We went to little Havana too for pulled pork sandwhiches, yum.
We also got to take a tour of the Everglades, had alligator nugguts for lunch and then see some real alligators.

Our air boat captain awaits us.

Do I Look Beautiful?

Last weekend we bought Hannah a pair of sparkly, sequined Lelli Kelly shoes. Really, they ARE called Lelli Kellys. To Hannah's delight, the shoes came with a little toy cell phone. Cute, I thought until she open it and I saw that it was filled with a tray of lip glosses and another tray of eye shadow.

I told her that she could use the lip gloss but not the eye shadow. Unfortunately, I didn't fill Dad in on the plan. He called while I was at work the other night and told me he had let Hannah use the eye shadow but did tell her she couldn't wear it outside. Good thinking Dad. This is what I saw when Hannah greeted me at the door when I got home. :)
